Welcome to Flaming Hills Cottage & Stables. We are a family of passionate animal lovers who turned our lifelong dream of country equestrian living into a tranquil retreat just under an hour from Auckland, New Zealand.
Born from a passion for horses
Our journey began when our daughters fell in love with horses and took up riding. To give them room to flourish and build the equestrian facilities we had always envisioned, we moved to this beautiful countryside haven six years ago. Since arriving, we have nurtured the land with dedicated native planting, safe paddocks, a custom arena, and purpose-built stables.
A living, breathing equestrian home
Flaming Hills is a relaxed, happy equestrian environment. Together with retired horses enjoying their peaceful pastures, broodmares, competitive eventers, and visiting grazers, there is always gentle movement and warmth across the farm.
